The Alliance of North American Pipe Band Associations (ANAPBA) has been in existence since 1999 and was formed to bring North American pipe band associations together in a spirit of friendship and cooperation, sharing ideas and expertise and developing programs to benefit all.

Having achieved that, ANAPBA reached out to associations around the World to engage in conversations about building links and commonalities throughout the pipe band world. We have established excellent relationships and made significant progress on items of interest to all.

MISSION/MANDATE

The mission of the Alliance of North American Pipe Band Associations is to advance the development and quality of pipers, drummers, and pipe bands across North America through:

• Fostering a culture of cooperation among member associations

• Communication and sharing of information


• Providing a forum for the study and discussion of issues


• Making and receiving recommendations from member associations, regarding Education, Adjudication, Administration, Communication, Competition and other related issues.
